Zero-U Rack PDU

The APC AP7866A is a metered power distribution unit built for 208 V three-phase environments. It installs vertically in zero rack units, leaving all horizontal slots free for servers and switches. The unit delivers 16.2 kVA through fifteen locking outlets. Data-centre operators who need per-phase current visibility on a single vertical strip will find it purpose-built.

IEC 309 Input and Mixed C13/C19 Outputs

A six-foot cord terminates in an IEC 309 60A 3P+PE plug rated for 45 A continuous draw. The outlet array combines three IEC 60320 C13 and twelve IEC 60320 C19 receptacles, each with built-in retention to prevent accidental disconnects. Supplied mounting brackets allow tool-less attachment to standard cabinet uprights. An RS-232 configuration cable is included for local metering setup.

Metered Monitoring with Overload Protection

The onboard meter reports real-time phase current so technicians can balance loads before a breaker trips. Integrated overload protection disconnects the strip when demand exceeds the 45 A rating. The chassis operates from -5 °C to 60 °C at up to 95 % relative humidity and 3 000 m elevation. Certifications include cUL, UL 60950-1, CSA C22.2, FCC Part 15 Class A, VCCI Class A and RoHS compliance.
