The APC AP8958NA3 is a switched rack power distribution unit designed for IT administrators who need individual outlet management. Its 0U form factor mounts vertically in a rack without consuming horizontal space. The unit accepts 200V, 208V or 230V input at up to 20A through a NEMA L6-20P plug with a 10 ft cord. Seven C13 and one C19 outlets deliver 230V power to connected servers and network gear.

Passive cooling with wide environmental tolerance

The PDU operates silently with no fans, relying on convection within the rack airflow. It is rated for continuous operation from -5°C to 45°C at up to 95% relative humidity and elevations to 3000 m. Input frequency covers both 50 Hz and 60 Hz supplies. Maximum input current is 20A, so total connected load must remain within that limit. The metal chassis meets cUL, UL, FCC Class A, VCCI Class A, VDE and other listed certifications.

Locking receptacles and sensor port for secure

Each IEC 320 outlet uses a locking mechanism that prevents accidental disconnection of C13 and C19 plugs. A built-in temperature/humidity sensor port allows external environmental monitoring.
