APC AP9890 Power Cord Pack

This pack contains five IEC 320 C14 power cords, each two feet long and rated for 120V AC at 10 amps. They use 16 AWG wire with three conductors inside a black rubber H05VV-F jacket. The flat cord shape helps routing in tight racks or cabinets. The IEC C13 connector fits standard server and UPS inlets.

Suits dense rack installations

These short cords reduce cable clutter between adjacent PDU outlets and equipment power supplies. The five-pack covers multiple devices in one order. Buyers needing longer reach for floor-standing UPS units or wall outlets should look at something else. The 158 degree F temperature rating matches typical data-centre environments.

Verify inlet and outlet types

Confirm your power distribution unit provides IEC 320 C14 sockets and your hardware accepts IEC C13 plugs. Check that 10 amp capacity meets the draw of each connected device. Ensure the two-foot length spans the gap without tension. The rubber jacket stays flexible in standard rack temperatures.

Questions about this item

Does the IEC 320 C14 plug on this cord fit the C13 inlet on my existing UPS or PDU?

Yes, the C14 plug is the standard mating connector for a C13 inlet found on most APC UPS units and rack PDUs.

Can I use these 16 AWG cords with older equipment that draws close to the 10 A rating?

The 16 AWG, 3-conductor H05VV-F cable is rated for 10 A at 120 V AC, matching the cord's maximum ampere specification.

How can I confirm each of the five cords is wired correctly after installation?

Verify that connected devices power on normally and that the plug seats fully into the C13 inlet without overheating during operation.
