Questions about this item

What does the 24 V DC output voltage mean for runtime on a 750 VA UPS?

The cartridge delivers 24 V DC at 168 VAH capacity, which the compatible SMT750 or SUA750 UPS converts into its rated backup time for connected loads.

Will the 5.4" x 5.9" cartridge fit the battery compartment of my SMT750?

Yes — the RBC48 measures 4.25" high, 5.20" wide and 5.9" deep, matching the original battery cavity dimensions for the listed APC models.

How do I hot-swap the RBC48 without powering down the UPS?

Open the front battery door, disconnect the old cartridge's connector, insert the new unit and press its connector firmly until it clicks; the UPS stays online throughout.
