Cable for cash drawer and TPG printers

This cable connects an APG cash drawer to specific TPG printers using an RJ-45 male to RJ-12 male interface. It provides a five foot link for point of sale installations. The accessory is designed for direct drawer triggering from the printer port. It arrives in new condition ready for deployment.

Suits setups with TPG or Ithaca printers

The cable fits environments where the host printer uses a compatible RJ-45 drawer port. Builders wiring a drawer to an unsupported printer model should look elsewhere. Shops needing a longer run than five feet must source a different length. It is not a general purpose network or serial cable.

RJ-45 male to RJ-12 male connector pairing

This connector combination decides whether the cable matches the printer and drawer ports on site. Verify both port types before ordering. The five foot length is fixed and cannot be adjusted. No other interface or protocol is supported by this part.

Questions about this item

Does the CD-102B include the cash drawer or only the connecting cable?

The CD-102B is a 5 ft cable with RJ-45 (M) to RJ-12 (M) connectors; the cash drawer itself is sold separately.

Which printer brands does the CD-102B support for the RJ-45 to RJ-12 connection?

This cable is built for specific TPG printers and also some Ithaca models; it is not a universal fit for every brand.

Will the 5 ft length reach a drawer placed under a standard counter?

At 5 ft the cable spans most under-counter setups, leaving slack for routing behind the printer or along the kick-plate.
