Power supply for 6000 Series cash drawers

The APG PK-M19ULR provides power to APG 6000 Series cash drawers through a serial interface. It accepts both 110 V AC and 220 V AC input, making it suitable for installations in different regions. Retail and hospitality operators can deploy it with existing drawer hardware without changing the electrical infrastructure.

Thermals noise and power draw

The unit operates on standard mains frequencies of 50 Hz and 60 Hz, drawing only the current required by the attached drawer. With no internal fan, it runs silently in normal use, adding no audible noise to the checkout environment. Power consumption scales with drawer activity rather than running at a fixed high level.

Questions about this item

How do I install the PK-M19ULR power supply for my 6000 Series cash drawer?

Connect the supply to a 110 V AC or 220 V AC outlet at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, then plug the output cable into the drawer's serial interface; the step often missed is verifying the mains voltage matches the local supply before powering on.

What maintenance or replacement will the PK-M19ULR need over time?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts; if the drawer fails to open, test the outlet voltage and cable continuity first, and replace the entire power supply if the brick no longer delivers power.
