Vasario Series Standard Duty Cash Drawer

The APG Vasario Series VP320-BL1416 is a standard duty cash drawer built for point-of-sale environments that need reliable cash handling. Its 4 bill and 5 coin compartments organise currency for retail, hospitality or small business checkout stations. The MultiPRO interface connects to compatible POS printers or systems using a required cable.

Sustained Operation And Cycle Life

The roller bearing suspension system is designed for smooth, repeatable motion during continuous daily use. The latch ejection mechanism has been tested over one million cycles to maintain consistent opening performance over time. This construction supports high transaction volumes without the degradation seen in lighter mechanisms.

Build Quality And Mounting Practicalities

A painted black steel front resists wear in public facing positions while the durable plastic hold downs allow comfortable lifting. The four function lock secures contents with multiple key positions for manager control. Adjustable 4 by 5 till inserts adapt to local currency layouts and the unit sits on .50 inch feet for stable countertop placement.

Questions about this item

Does the 24 V MultiPRO 320 interface draw enough power to warm the drawer after hours of use?

The drawer has no internal heater or fan; it only receives a brief 24 V pulse from the POS printer to open, so it stays at room temperature during all-day operation.

Which POS printer or cable must I already own to connect the MultiPRO 320 interface?

You need a receipt printer or POS terminal with a 24 V RJ12 cash-drawer port and a compatible MultiPRO cable — the drawer ships without any cable.

Will the 13.80" x 16.30" footprint and 4.00" height fit the same counter cut-out as my 2012-era 1416 model?

Yes — the external dimensions match the legacy 1416 footprint exactly, so existing counter cut-outs and mounting points line up without modification.
