1-1/2" Press Bronze Swing Check Valve
This Apollo 61YLF207T1PR valve uses a lead-free bronze body with an inline swing mechanism. It accepts press connections on both ends for 1-1/2 inch pipe. The design suits horizontal or vertical mounting in general-purpose plumbing systems.
Replaces threaded or soldered check valves
Press ends remove the need for threading tools or open-flame soldering during installation. The jump is worth it when faster, flame-free assembly outweighs the cost of press tooling and compatible fittings. It does not suit systems that require a higher cracking pressure than .5 psi.
Limited by press connection and pressure ratings
The press interface demands compatible pipe and a calibrated press tool; it cannot join to threaded, grooved or flanged pipe without adapters. Maximum water pressure is 200 psi and steam pressure is capped at 15 psi WSP. Operating temperature range is 33 to 180 degrees F.

Questions about this item
What pipe size does the 1-1/2" press connection fit?
The valve uses a 1-1/2 inch press connection on both ends for direct copper tubing installation.
How do I install the press ends and which orientation is required?
Use a compatible press tool to crimp each end; the valve mounts horizontally or vertically per the 0.5 psi cracking pressure rating.
When should the EPDM seal or RPTFE seat be replaced?
Inspect seals if leakage appears or after prolonged exposure near the 180 °F temperature limit or 200 psi pressure rating.
