Stainless steel two-way ball valve
This Apollo 7610627 valve controls flow in steam and water lines using a manual quarter-turn handle. The body and ball are both 316 stainless steel with a standard-port, two-piece straight construction. A locking handle secures the valve in the open or closed position.
Suitable for high-pressure liquid and steam systems
The valve handles up to 1,500 psi operating pressure and 150 psi steam pressure with a 29 in Hg vacuum rating. It is not rated for combustible gas service or 3-A sanitary compliance, so food-grade or gas-distribution installers should select a different component.
1-1/4 inch FNPT connection size
The nominal valve size is 1-1/4 inches with female National Pipe Thread ends for inline installation. This single dimension determines whether the valve matches the existing piping.

Questions about this item
What pipe thread does the 1-1/4" FNPT inlet require for a leak-free seal?
It needs a matching 1-1/4" male NPT thread with sealant or tape; the valve body is straight-pattern stainless steel with a standard-port 316 ball.
Can the 150 psi steam rating handle the same line pressure as the 1,500 psi water rating on my existing system?
No — steam service is limited to 150 psi while water service allows 1,500 psi; do not exceed the steam limit on shared piping.
How do I verify the locking handle is engaged after installation?
Turn the handle perpendicular to flow; the locking latch should click into the notch and resist hand pressure when you try to rotate it back.
