1-1/4" Sweat Brass Ball Valve
This Apollo 94ALF-206-01A valve controls flow in 1-1/4 inch copper piping using sweat connections. The inline, two-piece brass body houses a full-port 316 stainless steel ball with PTFE seats. A blowout-proof brass stem and plated steel lever handle complete the assembly for residential or commercial plumbing installations.
600 psi CWP pressure limit
The valve is rated for a maximum working pressure of 600 psi cold water pressure. Operating temperature range spans -20 degrees to 366 degrees Fahrenheit. PTFE body seals and seats maintain integrity within these limits. Installers must verify system pressure and temperature stay inside this envelope before specifying the part.
Sweat x Sweat connection requirement
This valve only fits systems prepared for 1-1/4 inch sweat joints on both ends. It cannot be used with threaded, press-fit or push-fit piping without additional adapters not included here. Buyers needing a different connection type or a larger pipe diameter must select another model.

Questions about this item
Should I choose a 1-1/4" sweat valve or a different connection type?
The 1-1/4" sweat connection is designed for copper pipe soldering; select it when your plumbing uses 1-1/4" copper tube and you prefer a permanent, leak-free joint.
What does the 600 psi CWP rating mean for my water supply?
It certifies the valve can handle 600 psi cold working pressure, well above typical residential pressure, so it will not fail under normal municipal or well-system conditions.
How does the sweat x sweat connection affect installation?
Sweat ends require soldering to 1-1/4" copper tube, creating a rigid, permanent seal that cannot be disconnected without cutting the pipe.
