What this iPad is and who it serves

The 2021 Apple iPad delivers a 10.2-inch Retina display with 2160 x 1620 resolution and True Tone for comfortable viewing in any light. An A13 Bionic chip with Neural Engine powers everyday tasks, creative apps and machine-learning features. A 12MP Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage keeps you centred during video calls, while the 8MP Wide rear camera captures photos and 1080p video. This 64 GB Wi-Fi model in Space Gray suits students, families and anyone needing a capable tablet for media, light productivity and video chat.

What to verify before ordering

This tablet connects via 802.11ac Wi-Fi only; there is no cellular option. Accessories attach through the Lightning connector and Smart Connector, so check that any keyboard, stylus or adapter you already own supports those interfaces. The display works with the first-generation Apple Pencil, not the second generation. Storage is fixed at 64 GB and cannot be expanded, so confirm that capacity fits your apps, photos and offline media. Battery life reaches up to 10 hours of typical use.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The 10.2-inch size, Center Stage front camera and Smart Keyboard support make this iPad a strong choice for video conferencing, note-taking and media consumption on a budget. Buyers who need more internal storage, cellular connectivity or a laminated, fully laminated display with ProMotion should consider other models. Users requiring USB-C accessories, second-generation Apple Pencil compatibility or a smaller form factor will also need a different device.

Questions about this item

Does the 10.2-inch iPad ship with the 1st-generation Apple Pencil or Smart Keyboard, or must they be bought separately?

The iPad itself is the only item in the box; the 1st-generation Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard are sold separately.

Should I choose the 64 GB model or the 256 GB model for typical schoolwork and streaming?

The 64 GB version handles everyday apps, documents and offline video well; the 256 GB version adds room for large media libraries and heavier creative projects.

How long will the 10.2-inch iPad last on a single charge when I am browsing over Wi-Fi?

Apple rates the battery for up to 10 hours of web surfing on Wi-Fi, so a full day of mixed use is realistic.
