Ninth-Generation iPad for Everyday Use

This ninth-generation iPad delivers a 10.2-inch display and 64 GB of storage in a Wi-Fi-only configuration. It suits students, families and professionals who need a reliable tablet for browsing, streaming and light productivity. The Space Gray finish matches the 2021 release aesthetic.

Upgrading from Older Tablets

The jump is worthwhile if your current tablet struggles with modern apps, lacks the 10.2-inch screen size or runs out of 64 GB local storage. Buyers moving from devices with smaller displays or less capacity will notice the extra workspace and headroom for offline content. The 2021 platform supports current iPadOS features that older hardware cannot.

Compatibility Checks Before Buying

Verify that your workflow relies only on Wi-Fi connectivity because this model has no cellular modem. Confirm that 64 GB meets your offline media and app requirements since storage is not expandable. Ensure your existing chargers use USB-A or USB-C ports to work with the included premium aftermarket wall charger and cable. Original packaging is not supplied.

Questions about this item

Does the 10.2 inch iPad fit standard 10 inch tablet mounts?

The 10.2 inch screen matches common 10 inch mount specifications, but verify the exact width and height of your specific mount before purchasing.

How do I set up the Wi-Fi only iPad without a cellular plan, and what step is often missed?

Connect to a Wi-Fi network during initial setup, then sign in with an Apple ID; the step often missed is enabling iCloud backup before transferring data.

Will the included aftermarket wall charger need replacement sooner than an Apple original?

The premium certified charger meets safety standards for daily use; replace it only if the cable frays, the plug loosens, or charging becomes intermittent.
