iPad 10th Gen A2696 256GB Silver

The Apple iPad 10th Gen A2696 is a 10.9 inch tablet with 256GB of built-in storage and 4GB of memory. It runs iOS and is powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chip. The silver device weighs 1.5 units and includes a rear-mounted 12 megapixel camera. It suits anyone who wants a capable all-round tablet for media, browsing and light productivity.

Students and casual users needing one portable

This iPad fits students and casual users who want a single portable device for web browsing, video streaming, note-taking and light creative work with Apple Pencil 1st Gen support. Buyers who need cellular connectivity, more than 256GB of storage, or a newer processor generation should look at other models. The Grade B condition means visible signs of normal wear are present.

Storage capacity is the deciding spec

The single specification that decides whether this is the right part is the 256GB built-in storage, which cannot be expanded after purchase. If your apps, media and documents fit within that space, the tablet will serve you well. If you anticipate needing more room, you must choose a different configuration.

Questions about this item

Will the built-in 256GB SSD need replacement after heavy daily use?

The 256GB SSD is soldered to the logic board and not user-replaceable; if storage fills up you must offload files to iCloud or an external drive instead of swapping the drive.

What performance limit appears first when the A14 Bionic runs demanding tasks for hours?

Sustained loads trigger thermal throttling on the A14 Bionic, lowering clock speeds to keep the 10.9-inch chassis within safe temperatures.

How warm does the aluminium body get and how loud is the cooling during all-day use?

The fanless design means zero noise; the rear aluminium warms noticeably under load but stays within Apple’s thermal limits for the A14 Bionic.
