Questions about this item

How often will the built-in battery need replacement under normal daily use?

The battery is designed for all-day life on a single charge and is not user-replaceable; Apple or an authorised service provider handles any future replacement.

Which limit appears first when the A16 chip runs demanding tasks for a long period?

Thermal throttling on the A16 chip will reduce performance before the battery is exhausted during sustained heavy workloads.

How warm does the aluminium chassis get and is there any fan noise when the iPad is used continuously?

The aluminium body warms noticeably under load but stays within safe limits, and there is no fan so operation remains completely silent.
