Installation and common issues

The tablet is ready to use after the initial iOS setup wizard, which guides you through language, Wi‑Fi and Apple ID configuration. No internal hardware installation is required. The most frequent issues involve activation locks if a previous Apple ID remains linked, and battery health on older units that may not hold a full charge. Ensure you sign out of any existing accounts before resetting.

Pre‑purchase checks

Verify that your Apple ID and iCloud storage plan can accommodate a fresh device setup. Confirm that any required apps are compatible with the iOS version this model supports. Check that you have a Lightning cable and power adapter, as original packaging is not included. Ensure your Wi‑Fi network operates on a band the tablet can join.
