iPad 7th Gen 32GB Wi-Fi

This 10.2-inch tablet runs on the Apple A10 Fusion chipset with a quad-core 2.34 GHz processor and 3GB of memory. It comes with 32GB of built-in storage and ipadOS out of the box. The Retina IPS LCD panel shows a 1620 x 2160 resolution. A 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone and speakers are integrated.

Ideal for light daily tasks, not heavy workflows

The iPad suits students, casual web browsing, video streaming and basic note-taking with the first-generation Apple Pencil. Buyers who want more storage for large media libraries or who need a second camera system for advanced photography should look at something else. It also lacks a cellular modem, so it cannot connect away from Wi-Fi networks.

32GB fixed storage decides the fit

The single specification that determines whether this is the right part is the 32GB built-in capacity, which cannot be expanded. If your apps, photos and offline files fit comfortably inside that space, the tablet works; if you need room for a growing library, you will hit the limit quickly.

Questions about this item

Will the 32 GB of built-in storage on this iPad 7th Gen need to be upgraded or replaced later?

The storage is soldered to the logic board and cannot be upgraded; you manage space by offloading apps, photos, or files to iCloud or a computer.

What limit appears first when the Apple A10 Fusion chip runs demanding tasks for a long period?

The processor will throttle its 2.34 GHz speed to control temperature, so sustained performance drops before the battery or storage becomes a bottleneck.

How much heat or fan noise does the 10.2-inch Retina IPS LCD tablet produce during all-day use?

There is no fan, so the device is silent; the aluminium back warms noticeably under heavy load but stays within normal operating temperatures.
