Purpose and user

The Apple iPad 7th Gen A2200 is a 10.2-inch tablet designed for everyday computing, learning and entertainment. It suits students, families and professionals who need a portable iOS device with cellular connectivity unlocked for any carrier. The 32 GB storage and 3 GB memory handle common apps and media. It is not for buyers who require larger onboard storage or more memory for heavy multitasking.

Thermals, noise and power

The tablet runs silently with no moving parts, so there is no fan noise during normal use. The A10 Fusion chip delivers efficient performance that keeps surface temperatures comfortable during typical workloads. Power is supplied by the included UL approved adapter and cable, supporting all-day battery life under mixed usage. No thermal throttling or acoustic issues are reported in standard operation.

Build integration

The device supports Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories for expanded productivity and creativity. Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity provide flexible network access without relying on a phone hotspot. Touch ID fingerprint sensor adds secure authentication. The package includes the charger and cable but omits headphones, SIM card, manual and original box, so buyers should plan for those separately.

Questions about this item

How do I insert a nano-SIM into the A2200 and what step do people miss?

Eject the tray on the right edge with the supplied tool, seat the nano-SIM with the notch aligned, then push the tray fully home; the step often missed is restarting the iPad so the carrier profile activates.

What part will need replacement first on the 10.2-inch Retina model?

The 32 GB eMMC storage is soldered and not replaceable; the only serviceable part that ages is the battery, which Apple or an authorised provider can swap when capacity fades.

What limit appears first during a long LTE session on the A10 Fusion chip?

Sustained cellular data use makes the aluminium chassis warm, triggering thermal throttling that lowers clock speeds before the battery runs out.
