iPad 8th Generation 128 GB tablet

The Apple iPad 8th Gen is a 10.2 inch tablet released in 2020 with 128 GB of built-in storage and 3 GB of memory. It runs on Wi-Fi only and arrives in silver with a premium aftermarket wall charger and USB cable included. The unit is graded excellent cosmetic condition showing only extremely light handling marks.

Suitable for everyday tasks and media.

This tablet suits users who want a capable iPad for browsing, streaming and light productivity on Wi-Fi networks. Buyers who need mobile data connectivity away from Wi-Fi should look at a cellular model instead. The Wi-Fi only design means no SIM slot or mobile broadband capability is present.

128 GB fixed storage decides fit

The single specification that determines whether this is the right part is the 128 GB built-in storage capacity which cannot be expanded. Users who require more local space for large apps, games or offline media libraries will find the fixed capacity limiting. Those comfortable managing content within 128 GB or relying on cloud services will find it adequate.

Questions about this item

What are the physical dimensions of the 10.2 inch iPad for case fit?

The screen diagonal is 10.2 inches; overall body dimensions are not supplied.

How do I set up this Wi-Fi only iPad, and what step is often missed?

Power on, select language, join a Wi-Fi network, then sign in with an Apple ID; skipping the Apple ID sign-in leaves the device unlinked to iCloud and the App Store.

What maintenance will the iPad need after extended use?

The sealed battery is not user-replaceable; when run-time drops significantly, arrange service through an authorised provider.
