iPad 8th Gen 32 GB Wi-Fi

This 10.2 inch tablet from 2020 provides 32 GB of internal storage and Wi-Fi connectivity only. It is aimed at students, casual users and anyone needing a lightweight iPad for web browsing, media streaming and basic productivity apps. The Space Gray finish gives it a neutral, professional look. The unit ships with an aftermarket premium wall charger and cable.

Wi-Fi only connectivity limits

The device connects to the internet and local networks solely through its built-in Wi-Fi radio; there is no cellular modem for mobile data on the go. Users must be within range of a compatible wireless access point to download apps, stream content or sync files. Public hotspots, home routers or tethering from a phone are the only ways to get online. Large operating-system updates may require a stable, unmetered connection.

Check your Apple ID and iCloud storage

Before ordering, verify that you have an active Apple ID to activate the tablet and access the App Store, iMessage and FaceTime. The 32 GB capacity fills quickly with photos, videos and offline media, so assess whether your iCloud plan or local backup routine can handle the overflow. The battery is guaranteed at 80 % health or higher, but the original packaging is not included. Ensure your existing Lightning cables and accessories are compatible with this model.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 32GB Wi-Fi model or is another capacity available?

The listing describes a single 32GB Wi-Fi configuration in Space Gray; no other capacities or cellular versions are offered for this iPad.

What does the 10.2 inch screen size mean for everyday use on this 2020 iPad?

The 10.2 inch Retina display gives enough room for split-view multitasking, comfortable reading, and media playback while keeping the tablet light enough to hold one-handed.

How does the Wi-Fi only connectivity limit what I can do with this tablet?

Without cellular hardware the iPad relies entirely on nearby Wi-Fi networks for internet access, so offline apps and downloaded content are required when away from a hotspot.
