iPad 6th Gen 9.7" Wi-Fi 128GB Gold

The Apple iPad 6th Generation model A1893 is a 9.7 inch tablet with 128GB of storage and a gold finish. It runs iOS and features a multi-touch Retina display with a 2048 x 1536 resolution. The device is powered by a 2.3 GHz Apple A10 Fusion chip with 2GB of memory. This unit is supplied new.

Suits note-takers and AR users not cellular buyers

This tablet supports Apple Pencil for drawing, notes and document signing, and its A10 Fusion chip handles augmented reality apps with gyroscope and accelerometer tracking. The Wi-Fi only model A1893 lacks cellular connectivity, so buyers who need mobile data away from a hotspot should look at a different variant. The 128GB capacity fits apps and media but cannot be expanded.

9.7" Retina 2048 x 1536 264 ppi

The single specification that decides fit is the 9.7 inch Retina display running at 2048 by 1536 pixels and 264 ppi. This screen size and resolution determine whether the iPad matches a user's portability and visual clarity needs for reading, annotation or AR workflows. No other single figure overrides this constraint.

Questions about this item

How does the 2.3 GHz A10 Fusion chip perform in everyday apps?

The 2.3 GHz Apple A10 Fusion chip runs iPadOS 15.4 smoothly, handling web browsing, video streaming and multitasking without lag. It also powers augmented reality apps using the gyroscope and accelerometer for motion tracking.

What Wi-Fi standard does the A1893 model support and what speeds can I expect?

The A1893 is a Wi-Fi-only model; it connects to standard wireless networks for internet access, streaming and downloads. Real-world throughput depends on your router and signal conditions.

Will this 9.7 inch tablet fit in my existing tablet sleeve or mount?

The iPad measures 9.7 inches diagonally and is 7.5 mm thin, so it fits most sleeves and mounts designed for the 9.7 inch form factor. The 128 GB storage and 2 GB memory are internal and do not affect external dimensions.
