Students and casual users needing ample offline

This configuration suits anyone who wants a single device for media, documents, and apps without relying on cloud sync. Buyers who require cellular connectivity away from Wi-Fi networks should consider other models. Shoppers expecting original retail packaging or included headphones will not find them here. The tablet is designed for iPadOS workflows, not desktop-class operating systems.

256GB storage capacity decides fit

The 256GB capacity is the specification that determines whether this iPad meets your local storage needs. Users with large photo libraries, offline video collections, or many apps benefit from this tier. Those with lighter storage demands may find a smaller capacity sufficient. No expansion slot exists, so the chosen capacity is fixed for the life of the device.

Questions about this item

256GB or a smaller model — which should I pick?

The 256GB model gives plenty of room for apps, photos and offline media; choose a smaller capacity only if you stream everything and keep few local files.

What does the A13 Bionic chip mean for everyday speed?

The A13 Bionic with Neural Engine handles multitasking, gaming and AR smoothly on iPadOS 15.4, so apps launch fast and split-screen work feels responsive.

Wi-Fi only — what does that limit in practice?

Without cellular you need a Wi-Fi network or phone hotspot for internet; all downloads, streaming and cloud sync happen over that connection.
