9.7" Tablet with 16GB Storage

The Apple iPad Air 2 is a 9.7-inch tablet offering 16GB of built-in storage in a Space Gray finish. It runs on iOS 8 and is powered by an A8X chip. This Wi-Fi only model suits users who need a lightweight device for browsing, media consumption and light productivity away from cellular networks. It is not suited for buyers who require more storage capacity or cellular connectivity.

Straightforward Setup with Wi-Fi Only

The tablet arrives ready to use after the standard iOS on-screen setup assistant connects to a Wi-Fi network. No SIM card installation is required for this Wi-Fi only version. The most common issue is underestimating how quickly 16GB fills with apps, photos and system updates, leaving little room for offline media. Buyers who need expandable storage should look elsewhere.

Check Your Apple ID and iCloud Plan

Before ordering, confirm you have an Apple ID ready for activation and app downloads. Verify that your iCloud storage plan can accommodate backups if the local 16GB capacity becomes tight. Ensure your home or office Wi-Fi network supports the tablet's wireless connection for all intended tasks. Users dependent on mobile data when away from Wi-Fi will find this model limiting.

The box contains the tablet, a Lightning to USB cable, and a USB power adapter; a computer for iTunes sync or iCloud account for backup must be supplied by you.

Which storage capacity should I choose if I only see the 16GB option listed?

The 16GB model is the sole capacity offered for this Space Gray Wi-Fi configuration, so it is the only choice available.
