Compact iPad Mini 4 for light daily use

This Apple iPad Mini 4 A1538 ships with iOS 15.4 and a 7.9 inch IPS display running at 2048×1536 resolution. The 1.5 GHz A8 processor and 2 GB memory handle web browsing, email and media streaming. Its 16 GB built-in storage suits users who rely on cloud services and keep few local files. The Space Gray finish weighs .65 pounds for easy one-hand holding.

Check iOS 15.4 app support

Verify that the apps you need still run on iOS 15.4, as newer releases may drop support for this version. The A1538 model provides Wi-Fi networking only, so confirm you do not require cellular data when away from a hotspot. Only 16 GB of internal storage is available and it cannot be expanded, so plan for cloud backups or regular offloading. The package includes a UL approved power adapter and charging cable but no headphones, SIM card or manual.

Fits a minimal carry kit with charger included

The tablet draws power from the supplied UL approved adapter, leaving no need for a separate brick. Its 7.9 inch footprint slips into small bags or large pockets, freeing space that a larger iPad would occupy. The Lightning port handles charging and accessory attachment without extra dongles. Buyers who need more local storage, cellular connectivity or a newer iOS version should consider other models.
