Compact 7.9-inch tablet for mobile workflows

The iPad Mini 4 A1538 delivers a 7.9-inch Retina display in a lightweight form factor with 16 GB of built-in storage and 2 GB of memory. It runs iOS and connects via Wi-Fi, making it suited for professionals who need a portable secondary screen for email, reference documents or light content consumption while travelling.

Passive cooling keeps operation silent

With no active fan the tablet produces no audible noise during typical office tasks such as web browsing, document editing or video playback. The lithium-ion battery powers the device through a standard workday without requiring a wall outlet, and the aluminium chassis dissipates warmth without throttling everyday performance.

Sustained workloads stay within thermal limits

During extended sessions — such as long video conferences, continuous PDF annotation or repeated app switching — the system maintains consistent responsiveness because the low-power processor and efficient iOS memory management prevent heat buildup. The 16 GB storage ceiling means users who accumulate large local media libraries will need cloud offload or a device with greater capacity.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the iPad Mini 4 A1538 and what step do people often miss?

Power on the tablet, follow the on-screen iOS setup assistant, connect to Wi-Fi, and sign in with your Apple ID. The step people often miss is enabling iCloud Backup before restoring apps and data.

What maintenance or replacement will the iPad Mini 4 A1538 need later?

The built-in lithium-ion battery is not user-replaceable. After several hundred charge cycles capacity drops; a professional battery service is the only way to restore original run-time.

What limit appears first on the iPad Mini 4 A1538 during sustained use?

The 16 GB storage fills quickly with apps, photos and iOS updates, forcing you to offload content before you can install new software or capture more media.
