Compact 7.9″ Retina tablet with 64 GB storage

The Apple iPad Mini 5 delivers a 7.9″ Retina Display and 64 GB of built-in storage in a silver finish. It runs iOS with 3 GB of memory and includes Bluetooth connectivity. A USB charging cable is supplied in the box. This new unit shows light to moderate scratches on the body and screen that are visible from a few inches away. A case and screen protector may conceal most of the cosmetic marks.

Suits users wanting a small iOS device for media

The compact form factor fits one-handed use for reading, browsing and video playback on the 7.9″ panel. Buyers who need a flawless exterior should look elsewhere because scratches are present on both the body and the display. The 64 GB capacity limits offline media libraries, so users who store large photo or video collections locally will find the space restrictive. Cellular connectivity is not included, limiting use to Wi-Fi networks.

64 GB fixed storage decides suitability

The single specification that determines fit is the 64 GB built-in storage which cannot be expanded. If your apps, photos and offline files fit within that amount the iPad Mini 5 works as a portable iOS companion. If you require more local capacity you must choose a different device.
