Compact 8.3" tablet for everyday tasks

The 2021 iPad mini with 64 GB storage and an 8.3 inch display runs iPadOS on Wi-Fi only. Its small footprint suits readers, students and commuters who want a light device for browsing, notes and media consumption.

Aftermarket charger and cable replace the originals

A premium third-party wall charger and USB cable are supplied instead of Apple's original accessories. They provide the same charging function but do not carry Apple certification or original packaging.

Wi-Fi only limits connectivity away from hotspots

Without cellular hardware the tablet cannot access mobile data networks. Users who need internet on trains, in parks or at client sites must rely on phone tethering or public Wi-Fi.

Questions about this item

Does the 64 GB storage option mean I will need to rely on cloud services sooner?

The 64 GB capacity is fixed and cannot be expanded, so heavy local media libraries will eventually require off-device storage or regular file management.

What thermal limit appears first when the 8.3 inch screen and processor run demanding tasks continuously?

The compact enclosure has no active cooling, so sustained high loads cause the chassis to warm up and the system to reduce performance to protect internal components.

How much heat and fan noise does the tablet produce during all-day use?

There is no fan, so operation is silent; the aluminium back acts as a passive heatsink and becomes noticeably warm during prolonged heavy workloads.
