10.2-inch Retina iPad for everyday use

The 2021 Apple iPad with A13 Bionic chip and 64GB storage delivers a responsive iPadOS experience for students, families and casual users. Its 10.2-inch Retina display with True Tone provides clear visuals for reading, video streaming and light productivity tasks.

Suits first-time buyers; not for heavy multitaskers

This model suits anyone wanting a reliable tablet for web browsing, media consumption and basic app use with Touch ID security. Buyers who need more than 64GB storage or require cellular connectivity should consider other configurations. The first-generation Apple Pencil adds drawing and note-taking capability.

64GB fixed storage decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 64GB storage capacity, which cannot be expanded later. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 handle wireless connections, while the Lightning port supports charging and accessories. Choose this capacity only if your apps, photos and offline media fit comfortably within 64GB.

Questions about this item

Will the 10.2-inch Retina display and A13 Bionic chip run the same iPadOS apps I use on my older Lightning iPad?

Yes, the 10.2-inch Retina display with 2160 x 1620 resolution and A13 Bionic chip run current iPadOS, so apps that worked on your previous Lightning iPad will run here.

How can I confirm the 12MP Ultra Wide front camera enables Center Stage during video calls?

Open FaceTime or a supported video app; if the camera pans and zooms automatically to keep you centred, Center Stage is active on the 12MP Ultra Wide front camera.

Does the box include an Apple Pencil for the 10.2-inch model or must I buy the 1st Gen separately?

The box contains the iPad with 64GB storage, a Lightning to USB-C cable and a 20W USB-C power adapter; Apple Pencil (1st Gen) is sold separately.
