11-inch tablet for mobile professionals

The 11-inch Apple iPad Pro A2013 delivers 512 GB of storage and runs iPadOS 15.4 out of the box. It is aimed at users who need a portable, unlocked device with cellular capability for work or creative tasks away from a desk.

Sustained workloads on a passively cooled design

Because the tablet relies on passive thermal management, performance will throttle during extended heavy tasks such as video rendering or large file transfers. The 30-plus point inspection confirms full functionality, but buyers should expect reduced clock speeds under continuous load rather than peak burst speeds.

Simple setup with a few omissions

The unit arrives ready to use with a UL-approved power adapter and cable, though it ships without original packaging, headphones, a SIM card or a manual. Cellular activation only requires inserting a compatible nano-SIM, but the missing documentation means first-time iPadOS users must rely on online guides for initial configuration.

Questions about this item

How much heat and battery drain does the 11 inch 2018 iPad Pro produce during all-day use?

The 11 inch display and A12X chip are built for sustained workloads; typical mixed use runs cool and lasts a full day on the internal battery.

What must I already own to activate the unlocked cellular model A2013?

You need a compatible nano-SIM or eSIM plan from a carrier that supports the iPad's LTE bands.

Will my older 30-pin dock or Lightning headphones work with this 2018 iPad Pro?

The 2018 model uses USB-C, so 30-pin and Lightning accessories require separate USB-C adapters.
