iPad Pro 12.9 4th Gen 2020 128GB

This 12.9-inch tablet runs on the Apple A12Z Bionic chip with an 8-core processor and 6GB of memory. It offers 128GB of built-in storage and ships with iOS 13.4, upgradable to iOS 17. The IPS LCD display features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2048 x 2732 resolution protected by scratch-resistant glass.

Setup and common issues

The device arrives ready to use with a USB Type-C 3.1 port for charging and accessories. Bluetooth 5.0 pairs quickly with keyboards, mice or headphones. A cellular model requires an active data plan for mobile connectivity. The sealed 9720 mAh battery is not user-replaceable and may need professional service if capacity fades over time.

Ideal users and alternatives

Suits professionals and creatives who want a large 120Hz canvas for drawing, editing or multitasking with Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard support. The 128GB capacity fits moderate local file libraries and app collections. Buyers who need more storage for large video projects or who require 5G connectivity should look at other options.
