Check iPadOS version and accessory needs

The unit ships with iPadOS 15.4 installed and will accept later updates from Apple. Verify that your Mobile Device Management profile allows cellular models if deploying in a managed fleet. No headphones, SIM card or manual are included in the box. A UL-approved power adapter and charging cable are supplied.

Replaces earlier 12.9" Pro models or smaller tablets

Users moving from a 128GB or first-generation 12.9-inch Pro gain double the storage and the A12Z processor with an extra GPU core. The dual-camera array with 3D sensing adds AR workflows that older iPads cannot run. Buyers who need 512GB or 1TB capacities should select a higher-tier SKU instead.
