iPad Pro 12.9 A2068 for mobile professionals

The Apple iPad Pro 12.9 A2068 delivers a 12.9-inch Liquid Retina display at 2732×2048 resolution with touchscreen input. It runs iOS on the Apple A12Z Bionic chipset clocked at 2.5GHz with 6GB of memory and 128GB of built-in storage. Wi-Fi and unlocked cellular connectivity support work anywhere without a separate hotspot.

Fits workflows that need pen and keyboard

The tablet pairs with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard Folio accessories for drawing, note-taking and typing tasks. Its single USB-C port handles charging, data transfer and video output to external displays. The 128GB capacity stores apps, documents and media locally so users stay productive offline.

Replaces laptops for light creative work

Users moving from a traditional laptop gain a lighter, fanless device with all-day battery life for sketching, markup and field review. The jump is worth it when touch-first apps and portability matter more than desktop-class multitasking or legacy software compatibility. Buyers who need multiple internal drives or PCIe expansion should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What sustained workload first hits the thermal ceiling of the A12Z Bionic running at 2.5GHz?

Continuous heavy GPU tasks such as 3D rendering or extended AR sessions will trigger thermal throttling before the CPU reaches its limit.

How loud and hot does the tablet get after hours of full-load use?

The fanless chassis stays silent; the aluminium back warms noticeably but remains safe to hold during all-day workloads.

Which cellular plan must I already have active for the A2068 to connect?

Any nano-SIM or eSIM plan from a carrier that supports the iPad’s LTE bands will work; the device is unlocked.
