Refurbished 9.7-inch iPad with 32GB storage

This fifth-generation iPad from 2017 ships in Space Gray with a Grade A cosmetic rating. The 9.7-inch Retina display uses IPS technology at a 2048 x 1536 resolution. An Apple A9 chip with an embedded M9 coprocessor runs iOS on 32GB of flash storage. It is a Wi-Fi only tablet with 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth 4.2.

Setup and common issues

The tablet arrives with a non-OEM Lightning to USB cable and charging block so it can be powered immediately. No software installation is required beyond the standard iOS onboarding steps. Buyers sometimes expect cellular connectivity, but this model supports Wi-Fi only. The 32GB capacity cannot be expanded, so heavy media libraries will fill it quickly.

What to verify before ordering

Confirm that a Wi-Fi only device meets your mobility needs because no SIM slot is present. Check that 32GB of internal storage is sufficient for your apps and media since there is no card slot. Ensure your existing Lightning accessories are compatible with the included non-OEM cable. The unit weighs 1.03 lbs and measures 9.40 x 6.60 x .29 inches if bag or mount fit matters.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 9.7" Retina display and Apple A9 chip are working after setup?

Open Settings > General > About to verify the model MP2F2LL/A, 32GB capacity, and iOS version. Launch Camera to test the 8.0 MP rear and 1.2 MP front sensors. Stream video over 802.11ac Wi-Fi to check the display and connectivity.

What accessories are included in the box with this Grade A refurbished iPad?

A non-OEM Lightning to USB cable and a charging block are included in the package contents.

Is the 32GB model sufficient or should I choose a higher capacity?

The 32GB flash storage suits light use such as web browsing, streaming, and a few apps. Heavy offline media libraries or large game collections will require a larger capacity.
