What the iPhone 6s Plus A1687 delivers

This fully unlocked smartphone runs iOS 15.4 on an Apple A9 chip at 1.84 GHz. It provides 128 GB of storage, a 5.5 inch touch screen and a 12 MP main camera with sapphire crystal lens cover. The 5 MP front camera includes flash for selfies and FaceTime calls.

How it fits a daily carry

The handset arrives with a UL approved power adapter and charging cable so it can be powered immediately. No headphones, SIM card or original packaging are included, freeing the buyer to choose their own accessories and carrier. The 3.5 mm headphone jack remains for wired audio without an adapter.

What this replaces and when to upgrade

The 12 MP sensor adds 4K video and 63 MP panoramas, a clear step up from earlier 8 MP iPhones. 3D Touch introduces pressure-sensitive input not found on previous models. Buyers who need more than 128 GB of onboard storage or a newer iOS version than 15.4 should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 128 GB storage handle 4K video and 63 MP panoramas without extra iCloud space?

The 128 GB capacity stores hours of 4K footage and large panoramic files locally, so you can shoot without relying on cloud quotas.

How warm does the A9 chip get and how loud is the fan during all-day use?

The passively cooled A9 runs silently; the aluminium chassis disperses heat so the phone stays comfortable during extended sessions.

Which SIM size does the A1687 tray accept for immediate activation?

The tray takes a nano-SIM, the standard size used by all major carriers for this model.
