What this iPhone 8 Plus is

The Apple iPhone 8 Plus A1864 is a bar-form smartphone with a 5.5-inch Retina HD display and 256GB of internal storage. It runs iOS 15.4 on a 2.4 GHz Apple A11 Bionic processor and features a 12 MP dual camera system with optical image stabilisation. The silver unit is fully unlocked and sold without a contract.

Who this suits and who it does not

This handset fits buyers who want a fully unlocked iPhone with generous storage and a proven dual-camera setup for everyday photography. Users who require Face ID, an edge-to-edge OLED screen, 5G connectivity or the latest iOS versions beyond 15.4 should look at newer models instead.

Storage capacity and practical headroom

The 256GB capacity comfortably holds large photo libraries, offline media collections and dozens of apps without frequent offloading. Heavy 4K video recording or extensive local game installations will eventually fill the space, at which point cloud backup or a computer transfer becomes necessary.
