iPhone 8 Plus 256GB Space Gray

The Apple iPhone 8 Plus A1864 offers 256GB of storage in a Space Gray finish. It ships new and fully unlocked for prepaid or contract-free use. The 5.5-inch Retina HD display features True Tone technology. This bar-style handset runs iOS and includes integrated GPS.

Upgrade from 64GB or smaller iPhone 7

Moving up from a 64GB iPhone 7 or earlier model adds double the storage and the A11 Bionic chip at 2.4 GHz. The jump is worth it when you need more space for apps, photos and 4K video without relying on cloud offload. The dual 12 MP camera system also brings optical zoom and Portrait Lighting.

256GB handles large libraries and 4K video

The 256GB capacity comfortably holds extensive photo libraries, offline media and large apps with headroom for future iOS updates. Heavy users recording frequent 4K video or storing big game titles will still find space. Buyers who want more storage than 256GB or require expandable memory should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Will the 5.5-inch Retina HD display fit a standard iPhone 8 Plus screen protector?

Yes, the 5.5-inch Retina HD display matches the standard iPhone 8 Plus dimensions, so any protector made for this model will align correctly with the True Tone panel and curved glass edges.

How do I activate the A1864 model on my carrier, and what step is often missed?

Insert an active nano-SIM, complete the iOS 15.4 setup screens, then verify Cellular Data Options show LTE enabled; skipping the carrier settings update prompt is the step most people miss.

When will the 12 MP dual-camera sapphire lens cover need replacement?

The sapphire crystal lens cover resists scratches under normal use; replacement is only needed if physical impact cracks the glass or deep scratches degrade Portrait mode and Portrait Lighting quality.
