Apple Mighty Mouse A1152

This wired USB optical mouse is designed for Mac and Windows users who prefer a compact, lightweight pointing device. Its seamless white top shell hides touch-sensitive controls that replace traditional buttons. The product is sold new and includes compatible accessories in a generic box.

Plug-and-play USB 2.0 connection

Installation requires only an available USB port; the mouse works with USB 1.1 as well. No driver is needed for basic operation, though button programmability demands Mac OS X 10.4.2 Tiger or later. The sealed top shell prevents user access to internal components.

360-degree Scroll Ball navigation

The single most distinctive specification is the force-sensing Scroll Ball that moves in any direction without lifting a finger. Buyers who need a conventional tilt wheel or additional physical buttons should consider a different model.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Mighty Mouse A1152 is functioning correctly after plugging it in?

Connect the USB cable; the optical sensor should track immediately and the 360 degree Scroll Ball must move the cursor in every direction without lifting the mouse.

What ships with the MB112LL/B and what must I provide myself?

The box contains the Mighty Mouse with its attached USB cable; no separate driver disc is included because macOS 10.4.2 Tiger or later and Windows 2000 or XP support it natively.

Which version of the A1152 should I choose for a Mac running OS X 10.4.2?

The single MB112LL/B model listed is the correct choice; its programmability features require Mac OS X v10.4.2 Tiger or later, which matches your system.
