Appleton 125137 Cable Connector
This straight cable connector fits 1-1/4 inch jacketed metal-clad cable and terminates in a matching 1-1/4 inch MNPT box connection. It is built from nickel-plated brass for corrosion resistance in industrial and hazardous environments. The fitting carries Class I Division 2 and Class II and III Division 1 and 2 ratings for use in classified locations.
Fits 1-1/4 in knockout and MC cable
The connector threads into a standard 1-1/4 inch trade-size knockout and accepts jacketed metal-clad cable without a strain-relief mesh. Its straight orientation keeps the conduit run inline with the enclosure entry. No insulated throat is included, so installers must follow code requirements for bonding and grounding separately.
Replaces worn or unrated fittings
When an existing connector lacks the required hazardous-location rating or shows corrosion, this nickel-plated brass unit restores code compliance. The upgrade is worth it when the installation moves into a Class I Division 2 or Class II and III Division 1 or 2 area. It is not for use with non-jacketed cable types or smaller trade-size knockouts.
