A 90-degree iron elbow connects 3/4-inch threaded conduit in hazardous locations
This 90° elbow connects two lengths of 3/4in IMC or threaded rigid conduit in a single plane change. The male-to-male NPT ends thread directly into couplings or boxes without extra adapters. It is built for hazardous-location runs rated Class I Division 1 and 2, Groups A through D, Class II Division 1 and 2, Groups E through G, and Class III. The electroplated iron body resists corrosion in damp or chemical environments.
The silver electroplated finish protects the iron substrate from moisture and mild chemical exposure during and after installation. Male threads on both ends eliminate the need for a separate nipple when joining two female-threaded fittings. The hazardous-location ratings mean the fitting maintains conduit-system integrity where flammable gases, vapours, dusts or fibres may be present. No gaskets or sealing compounds are included in the package.
The compact 1-11/16in centre-to-centre dimension fits tight bends in control panels, motor junctions and instrument enclosures. It handles standard 3/4in trade-size conduit pulls without restricting wire fill. The fitting is not suited for runs that require a larger trade size or a radius sweep instead of a sharp 90° turn. Buyers needing PVC-coated or stainless-steel bodies must select a different series.

The electroplated silver finish on the iron body resists corrosion in the Class I, Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations it is rated for; recoating is not a scheduled maintenance item.
The 1 11/16 in overall length and 3/4 in trade size fix the bending radius, so conduit fill limits and voltage drop become the governing constraints before the fitting itself.
The fitting is passive iron with no electrical consumption; it does not generate heat, and its temperature simply follows the conductors inside, staying within the 75 °C rating of the connected IMC or threaded RMC.
