The Appleton Century Crofts LB75T-A is a 90-degree conduit outlet body designed for EMT raceway systems. Its copper-free aluminum construction and powder-coated gray finish suit commercial and industrial electrical installations. The LB body style provides a 90-degree pull point with a flat back for surface mounting. This new component accepts 3/4-inch trade size conduit via set-screw connections.

Set-screw EMT connection limits

The set-screw hub secures only 3/4-inch trade size EMT and is not compatible with rigid, IMC or flexible conduit types. A compatible cover such as K75-A or K75-CA must be purchased separately to close the 7-cubic-inch wiring chamber. The 90-degree orientation fixes the entry and exit axes, so straight or tee configurations require a different body style.

Hazardous-location rating

The fitting is listed for hazardous locations, making it the deciding factor for projects that require that certification. If the installation does not demand a hazardous-location rating, a standard outlet body may be sufficient.
