Vertical Sealing Fitting

This aluminum conduit fitting provides a vertical seal for 1-1/2 inch trade-size conduit systems. It carries hazardous-location ratings for Class I Division 1 and 2 Groups C and D, Class II Division 1 and 2 Groups E, F and G, and Class III environments. The fitting prevents the passage of gases, vapors or flames between conduit sections. It is designed for use with IMC and RMC conduit types.

Build Integration Requirements

The fitting connects a 1-1/2 inch female NPT thread to a 1-1/2 inch male NPT thread with an overall length of 5 1/2 inches. Its aluminum construction offers corrosion resistance in harsh industrial atmospheres. Vertical orientation ensures proper sealing compound placement during installation. No additional sealing components are included with the fitting itself.

Capacity And Headroom

The 25 fill rating indicates the maximum conductor fill capacity for this sealing fitting. It comfortably handles conduit runs requiring flame and vapor barriers in classified locations. The fitting reaches its limit when conductor counts exceed the 25 fill specification or when horizontal orientation is required. Installations needing larger trade sizes or different thread configurations will require alternative fittings.
