Application Fit

The Appleton EYF-75AL is a 3/4 in aluminum sealing fitting designed for hazardous-location conduit systems. It prevents the passage of gases, vapours or flames between sections of IMC or RMC conduit. Installers working in Class I Division 1 and 2, Class II Division 1 and 2 or Class III environments use it to maintain the integrity of the raceway.

Build And Connections

The body is constructed from silver-finished aluminum and carries a 25 fill rating. It provides female NPT threads on both ends for a straight 3/4 in FNPT x 3/4 in FNPT connection with an overall length of 3 1/2 in. The material resists corrosion in industrial atmospheres while the threaded joints allow straightforward assembly with standard conduit nipples or elbows.

Decisive Specification

The fitting is rated for Class I Groups A, B, C, D, Class II Groups E, F, G and Class III hazardous locations. This classification is the single factor that determines whether the part meets the area classification required by the project specification.
