Appleton GRJL50 Iron Conduit Outlet Body

The Appleton GRJL50 is an iron conduit outlet body designed for electrical installations requiring a 90-degree directional change. Its L-style body provides a 7.3 cu in capacity for wire splicing or pulling. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it fits 1/2 in trade size threaded IMC conduit. The gray finish resists corrosion in exposed environments.

Fits 1/2 in Threaded IMC Conduit Systems

This outlet body connects directly to 1/2 in threaded IMC conduit without adapters. The threaded hub ensures a secure mechanical and electrical bond. A compatible GRJK-S or GRJK-SC cover is included to seal the access point. The round back design allows it to sit flush against mounting surfaces, freeing up space inside the conduit run for conductor movement.

Iron Construction for Indoor and Outdoor Durability

The iron body withstands physical impact and environmental exposure in both indoor and outdoor settings. The gray finish adds a layer of protection against moisture and oxidation. With no moving parts or electrical components, it operates silently and draws no power. The 7.3 cu in interior volume helps dissipate heat from conductors during normal load conditions.
