  • Threaded IMC compatibility ensures secure conduit connections
  • Compatible with GRK cover series for flexible sealing
  • Trade size 1 in fits standard conduit systems

Application and Use

The Appleton GRT100-A is an aluminum conduit outlet body designed for trade size 1 inch threaded IMC installations. It provides a round back entry point with 18 cubic inches of internal capacity for pulling and splicing conductors. The fitting is rated for both indoor and outdoor use.

Suitable Installations

This outlet body suits electricians running 1 inch threaded IMC who need a GR-series junction point compatible with GRK covers. Installers using other conduit types or trade sizes will need a different fitting. Projects requiring a larger body capacity or a non-threaded connection method are not served by this model.

Critical Specification

The decisive specification is the 1 inch trade size combined with threaded IMC compatibility. Only conduit systems matching this exact trade size and thread standard will connect securely to the hub. Verifying the conduit type and size against this parameter confirms whether the GRT100-A is the correct component.
