Appleton GULB50 Conduit Outlet Body

The Appleton GULB50 is a new conduit outlet body built from iron with a triple-coat epoxy finish. It provides a 90-degree directional change in threaded IMC conduit runs and is rated for indoor and outdoor use. The LB-style body includes a cover and offers 19 cubic inches of internal capacity for wire pulls.

Upgrading from non-threaded or smaller hub bodies

This unit replaces outlet bodies that lack a 1/2-inch threaded hub or a durable iron construction. The jump is worth it when a project demands a weather-resistant finish and a secure threaded connection for IMC conduit. The included cover eliminates the need to source a separate component.

Suited for electricians pulling conductors through

Installers who need a robust, corrosion-resistant LB fitting for exposed locations will find this body appropriate. Builders requiring a different body style, such as LL or LR, or those working with non-threaded conduit types should look at alternative fittings.
