3/4-inch LB conduit outlet body

The Appleton Century Crofts GULB75 is a threaded iron conduit outlet body designed for 3/4-inch trade size IMC. It provides a 90-degree connection orientation with a 19 cubic inch internal capacity for wire splicing and pulling. The triple-coat epoxy finish protects the gray iron body for indoor and outdoor installations. A cover is included with the unit.

Iron body with threaded hubs for IMC systems

This LB-style body fits directly into 3/4-inch threaded IMC conduit runs without additional adapters. The round back design accommodates standard conduit fittings while the 90-degree turn simplifies routing around obstacles. The 19 cubic inch volume gives installers room to manage conductor fill and make secure connections inside the enclosure.

Included cover completes the enclosure

The supplied cover seals the outlet body to maintain the indoor/outdoor rating of the assembly. Triple-coat epoxy coating on both body and cover resists corrosion in damp or exposed locations. No separate cover purchase is required, reducing the number of line items on a job site order.

Questions about this item

How much wire-fill capacity does the 19 cu in body provide for a 3/4 in trade-size conduit run?

The LB-style body offers 19 cubic inches of internal volume, giving ample room for splicing or pulling conductors through a 3/4 inch threaded IMC raceway.

Does the triple-coat epoxy finish on the iron housing hold up to continuous outdoor exposure without excessive heat buildup?

The gray triple-coat epoxy coating protects the iron body from corrosion in indoor or outdoor installations, and the metal construction dissipates heat naturally during normal conduit use.

Will the included cover and threaded hubs connect directly to my existing 3/4 in IMC fittings?

Yes, the outlet body comes with a cover and features 3/4 inch threaded hubs on a 90-degree LB pattern, matching standard threaded IMC conduit of the same trade size.
