Reducing bushing connects 1-inch to 3/4-inch IMC conduit in hazardous locations
This Appleton Century Crofts RB100-75A reducing bushing connects conduit of different trade sizes in hazardous environments. It features a 1 in male thread and a 3/4 in female thread, both NPT. The aluminum body carries Class I Division 1 and 2, Class II Division 1 and 2, and Class III ratings for Groups A through G.
The fitting installs directly into threaded rigid metal conduit or intermediate metal conduit runs. Its plain aluminum finish resists corrosion without additional coating. At 3/4 in overall length, it adds minimal bulk to the conduit assembly while maintaining the required hazardous-location seal.
This bushing suits installers who need to step down from 1 in to 3/4 in conduit within a single hazardous-rated enclosure. It does not serve applications requiring non-threaded couplings, PVC conduit compatibility, or larger trade-size reductions.

The overall length is 3/4 in so the male thread engagement is limited to that depth.
The fitting is passive aluminium with no current-carrying parts; it does not generate heat during operation.
You need IMC or threaded RMC in 3/4 in and 1 in trade sizes plus a listed thread sealant for the FNPT/MNPT joints.
