Industrial Cable Connector

The Appleton TC125127 is a straight silver connector built from copper-free aluminium for hazardous-location tray-cable runs. It accepts a single cord with a diameter between .92 in and 1.27 in and threads onto a 1 1/4 in MNPT box entry. The body measures 1 3/16 in from the box face to the connector end.

Upgrade From Non-Rated Fittings

Standard cord grips lack the C 22.2 No. 30, UL 2225 and UL 514B listings that this connector carries, so they cannot be used where those standards are mandated. The jump is worth it when a project specification or inspector requires the enhanced rating for the installation environment.

Build Integration

The connector provides external strain relief with a 1 21/32 in relief length but includes no insulated throat, so installers must plan for separate insulation where code requires it. Its straight profile keeps the cable run compact inside tight enclosures while the silver aluminium resists corrosion in harsh atmospheres.
