Appleton Century Crofts UNF50 Rigid Union 1/2 in Threaded Steel Galvanized Silver Conduit

Appleton UNF50 Rigid Union 1/2 in

The Appleton UNF50 is a 1/2 inch threaded steel conduit union designed for rigid conduit systems. It connects two sections of 1/2 inch rigid conduit in vertical or horizontal runs. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for demanding environments. It is rated for hazardous locations including Class I, II, and III divisions.

Female-to-female threaded expansion fitting

This union features 1/2 inch FNPT threads on both ends for direct conduit-to-conduit connection. The electroplated steel body fits into existing rigid conduit layouts without adapters. Its 2 15/16 inch overall length and 1 3/16 inch profile allow installation in standard conduit bodies. The hazardous location rating supports use in classified areas.

Replaces worn or damaged rigid conduit couplings

Installers use this union to replace corroded or cracked couplings in 1/2 inch rigid conduit systems. The jump is worth it when the existing fitting lacks the Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, D rating required by code. It restores a secure, code-compliant connection in hazardous areas.
