Appleton 2 in Threaded Rigid Union

The Appleton UNY200NR-A is a straight rigid union designed to join two sections of 2 in threaded conduit in hazardous-location electrical installations. It provides a secure female-to-male connection for vertical or horizontal rigid conduit runs where a powder-coated aluminium fitting is required.

Verify conduit type thread gender

Before ordering confirm that your existing conduit is 2 in trade size rigid type with matching FNPT and MNPT ends. The union carries Class I Division 1 and 2 Groups A B C D, Class II Division 1 and 2 Groups E F G and Class III ratings so the installation area must fall within those classifications.

Powder coated aluminium holds up in corrosive

The aluminium body with powder coated finish resists corrosion during extended exposure to the chemical agents typical of the listed hazardous classes. Thread engagement remains tight under vibration and thermal cycling so the joint maintains its integrity over long service periods without loosening.
