Purpose and Fit

This cement gasket comes in a three-ounce tube for sealing heating appliances. It fits four Majestic models and thirty-two Vermont Castings models including the OXDV30-IPI, OXFORD OXV30NV, STARDANCE SDDVTEB and INTREPID INDVREB. Buyers needing a different sealant chemistry or a larger container will not find that here.

Installation and Common Errors

Apply the compound to clean, cool surfaces following the appliance manufacturer's instructions. The tube nozzle allows controlled placement in joints and gaps. Errors occur when old gasket material is not fully removed or when the appliance is fired before the cement cures.

Sustained Heat Behaviour

The cement is formulated for continuous high-temperature duty in gas and wood-burning units. It remains stable through repeated heating cycles without crumbling or losing adhesion. No performance data for short-term peak exposure beyond normal operating temperatures is provided.

Questions about this item

How do I know the gasket is sealing properly after I apply it?

Once cured, the cement forms a continuous seal around the door or flue joint; a visual inspection for gaps and a smoke test will confirm it is working as intended.

What comes in the package and what else might I need?

The box contains one 3 oz tube of cement gasket; no tools or additional sealants are included, so have a putty knife or caulk gun ready for application.

Which tube should I choose for my stove model?

This single 3 oz tube fits 4 Majestic models including OXDV30-IPI and 32 Vermont Castings models such as the Stardance and Radiance series listed in the compatibility data.
